The summer heat is here and along with it comes a new issue of Evocation. It has been two months since our last issue which will reflect our format going into the new school year. With this Issue Evocation celebrates the end of the academic year and everyone from the team here would like to congratulate our little readers for their achievements!
This time, we’ve chosen to look far beyond earth and gaze into the stars. We have several articles looking at space and what the astronauts have been up to for the last 50 years. We’ve looked closely at exploration and the possibility of aliens but given you a great overview of what’s in our galaxy. After all, we haven’t even gone further than the moon…
Next on the agenda has been the wonderful world of music. Our writers have researched the orchestra and all that comes with it giving you a taste of each section. Personally, I dove deep into the history of the piano and written about the instrument’s long legacy. Not only that but our team has put together an excellent showcase of musicians from each main era because we know you’ll want to read and listen.
As vacation time approaches, we’ve given some suggestions on activities you and your family can do this summer. Of course, our activity page is there for completion! From all of us here at Evocation, we would like to wish you safe travels abroad, happy stays at home and a well-deserved rest for the 2016-2017 year. Bon voyage!
